Symphony Orchestra to Give Musical Treats for Halloween

Get in the spirit of All Hallow小蝌蚪APP檚 Eve by wearing a costume to the UL Lafayette Symphony Orchestra小蝌蚪APP檚 annual Halloween concert.

You小蝌蚪APP檒l fit right in, since orchestra members will be wearing costumes, too.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, in Angelle Hall Auditorium on campus. The conductor will be Michael Blaney, director of Orchestral Activities at UL Lafayette.

Musical highlights of this year小蝌蚪APP檚 concert include selections from 小蝌蚪APP淛ames Bond小蝌蚪APP and 小蝌蚪APP淩aiders of the Lost Ark,小蝌蚪APP Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) and Prokofiev's 小蝌蚪APP淩omeo and Juliet.小蝌蚪APP The orchestra will also present a world premiere performance of Eric Sharp小蝌蚪APP檚 小蝌蚪APP淩enegade Convergence小蝌蚪APP featuring the UL Lafayette Dance program.

Admission is $8 for adults, free for anyone 17 and younger; and free for all UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff with ID. All proceeds benefit the UL Lafayette Orchestra Program.
